Cancellation & Appointment Policy
Our goal is to provide quality service in a timely manner. In order to do so Thrive Therapy has implemented an appointment/cancellation policy. The policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our clients. Note: Select cases will be taken into consideration.
To schedule an appointment please call 647-292-8498 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellation/Rescheduling of an Appointment
In order to be respectful of our staff, clients and time, please be courteous and call our office promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. Thrive Therapy requires at least 72 hours’ notice, so that your appointment time can be reallocated to someone else and the office avoids modification costs. Appointments that are modified with less than three business days of notice will be charged a $40.00 modification fee.
“No Show” Policy for Regular Appointments
A “no show” is someone who misses an appointment without cancelling it within a full working day (24 hours) in advance, or who fails to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment. Both of these will be recorded in the clients’ chart as a “no show”. The first time there is a “no show”, the patient will be reminded of this policy and charged a $40.00 fee. The second time, a letter alerting them to the fact that they have failed to show up for an appointment and did not cancel the appointment will be sent out; outlining clearly our “no show” policy (a copy of the letter will be placed in the patient file). The client will also be charged for a regular appointment, “no shows” will result in the temporary suspension of services until the fee has been paid.
Late Arrival Policy
Late arrivals can only be seen for the balance of time remaining that was booked, however, will be subject to the full cost of the appointment. Select cases will be taken into consideration and accommodated if time permits.
